Discovery Flight

A Discovery flight is an opportunity for someone to experience his or her first flight in a helicopter under the supervision of an experienced Certified Flight Instructor. During your flight you will get a bird’s eye view of the terrain and actually get to take the controls to experience what it takes to fly a helicopter.

What you will receive: Before your flight you will receive a preflight safety briefing on the flight controls and fundamentals of helicopter flight. Next, you will head out to the aircraft for your first flight helicopter flight lesson.

Basic $150 Flight Time: 25 minutes
The basic flight lesson is the perfect for the budget minded person who wants to get a taste of flying a helicopter. During the flight, you will receive first hand experience in: - Engine startup and rotor engagement - Takeoff - Straight and level flight - Turns - Climbs and descents - Hovering - Landing

Advanced $200 Flight Time: 40 minutes
This lesson includes everything listed in the basic flight as well as these additional advanced maneuvers. - Confined area landings - Air Taxi - Rapid Decelerations - Maximum performance takeoffs - Autorotations

Restrictions Maximum Seat Weight is 240lbs
