Galveston Island Tour

Your trip begins as you fly southeast towards the Gulf of Mexico until you come up on the Causeway Bridge that joins the island to the mainland. As you cross over the bay and make landfall on Galveston Island, you will see the distinctive glass pyramids of Moody Gardens and water slides of Schlitterbahn Waterpark.

Next, fly along the seawall of Galveston passing the popular San Luis Hotel Resort as you travel up the to the historical district of the island towards East Beach, home to Galveston’s newest high rise condominiums. On your return you will fly along the 5-mile Texas City Dike and pass the one of the largest industrial sites in the world, home to BP, Marathon Oil, Sterling Chemical, and Valero.
