Commercial Pilot Helicopter
This is the training package for a student who already holds a Private Pilot Certificate. A Commercial Pilot Certificate is similar to a Commercial driver's license; it allows you to fly passengers and/or cargo for hire and receive compensation. Our ground school provides you with the knowledge to pass your FAA written examinations. Our flight instruction is tailored to your individual needs so that you become a safe, competent, and professional Commercial Pilot ready to enter an aviation career.
Eligibility requirements
The following arethe FAA minimum requirements to obtain a Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate:
- be at least 18 years
- have a current FAA second-class medical certificate
- log at least 150 hours of flight
- log at least 100 hours of PIC
- pass the FAA Commercial Pilot Airmen Knowledge written test
- pass the FAA Commercial Pilot flight exam
- English skills (read, write and speak)
Length of Program:
From start to finish you should allow approximately 3 months.
